CNC Laser Cutting

Providing services to cover all your metal fabrication needs, the team at Trulab provide a CNC laser cutting service alongside other facilities.

Often preferred when using a thinner metal, our team is always on hand to find you the best solution when it comes to your projects, and laser cutting could prove beneficial for you and your business.

What is CNC Laser Cutting?

Computer numerically controlled (CNC) laser cutting is the process of manufacturing various types of metal through the use of a laser cutting machine.

Working through a method known as ‘vaporising cutting’, this sees the beam melt the material, while a high-pressure gas removes any molten material.

The three types of laser cutting include:

  • Flying optic
  • Moving material
  • Hybrid laser cutting

Allowing for extremely accurate cutting and often more intricate shapes to be made, CNC laser cutting can often be much quicker than other forms of cutting, such as CNC punch presses if you’re using thinner material.

This CNC laser cutting machinery is capable of cutting a wide variety of metals such as:

  • Mild steel
  • Aluminium
  • Stainless steel
  • Duplex
  • Pre-galvanised steel
  • Zintec steel
  • Copper
  • Brass
  • Exotic materials
  • And many more
